ZYC Energy is proud to be part of a successful off-grid solar system installation at Quondong Station in South Australia. The project upgraded the power supply for the Shearers' Quarters, ensuring reliable energy during the high-demand shearing season and beyond.

This advanced system integrates ZYC SIMPO batteries, delivering 25.6kWh of storage with five SIMPO battery units. As energy needs grow, the system offers flexibility for expansion with an additional 15.36kWh of storage by adding three more units.
System Highlights:
· Solar Capacity: 15.84kW with Jinko Tiger Solar Panels
· Inverter: Victron Quattro 48/1500 Inverter (15kVA)
· Battery Storage: 25.6kWh with ZYC SIMPO Batteries
· Additional Components: Victron SmartSolar MPPT Controllers, Fronius Primo Gen24 Inverter, and Victron Ekrano GX for monitoring

The system is housed in a sleek, weather-resistant, and vermin-proof cabinet designed for durability in the harsh Australian outback. It functions independently from the main grid while offering scalability to accommodate future energy demands.

This off-grid solution was developed in collaboration with MyEnergy Engineering, ensuring that the Shearers' Quarters operates reliably throughout the shearing season and provides long-term energy independence. For more details on the project, visit the full case study here.
ZYC Energy remains committed to providing sustainable and scalable energy storage solutions for off-grid applications, helping agricultural operations and remote locations achieve reliable power independence.
