Off-Grid Power at Cordillo Downs Station, South Australia
ZYC Energy proudly partnered with MyEnergy Engineering (www.myenergysolar.com.au) to deliver a high-performance off-grid power solution at Cordillo Downs Station, a remote pastoral property in South Australia’s far north.

The station, historically reliant on diesel generators and an ageing solar system, required a modern, reliable, and scalable energy solution. ZYC’s SIMPO 5000 batteries formed the heart of the project, providing 204.8 kWh of durable, high-efficiency energy storage capable of operating in harsh outback conditions.

A containerised system was custom-built and tested off-site, fully insulated, weather-sealed, and climate-controlled. Coupled with a 99.44 kW ground-mounted solar array, advanced inverters, and intelligent monitoring, the system delivers consistent, dependable power while allowing for future expansion.

This collaboration demonstrates how ZYC SIMPO batteries enable remote properties to transition from diesel reliance to sustainable, efficient, and resilient off-grid power — ready to meet today’s energy needs and tomorrow’s growth.
